An express check is:

  • performed by a Registered Nurse.
  • generally takes about 15 minutes to complete
  • may be conducted in a Medical Clinic, or at the applicant's home or workplace depending on location and availability of qualified Lifescreen personnel.

An Express Check is a quick snap shot of the applicant's current health status.

An Express Check involves:

  • measurements of height, weight, blood pressure, pulse and a urine test.
  • a few questions about medications being taken and visits to any doctor.
  • may take a little longer if the blood pressure needs to be taken more than once.
  • may be accompanied by pathology (blood tests) which are normally done at the same time.

Applicants will need to drink at least two glasses of water prior to their appointment, to ensure they are well hydrated.
